With a Doctoral of Musical Arts Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Miami since May 2023, Tingting has been an enthusiastic Concert Pianist and a very experienced Piano instructor. She has opened her own piano studio with free parking since 2024 at the Coral Gables location.
Her philosophy in teaching piano is: Nothing is impossible in piano, and it’s never too late to begin learning the piano, no matter when you want to start. She also likes to use the simplest method to lead students to find their maximum potential in piano and music, and she also wants to help students to be able to express their emotions through music and enjoy piano playing along the journey.

She was hired immediately in New York City as a piano instructor at the age of 22. During 2017-2019, Tingting was designated as an Associate Instructor in Piano (the position usually is only assigned to Doctoral level students) along with her Master’s degree in piano with full scholarships by Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University, to teach college-level students in Piano. Soon and almost simultaneously, she was also hired by the Preparatory School Department of IU in 2018. She was popular among college students and young children as their Piano Professor and their friend, as she received 4.8/5.0 scores on students’ anonymous evaluation forms from 2017-2019.
During her Doctoral Degree studies at the University of Miami, she was appointed as a Teaching Assistant in Piano for her full three years of studying there. She received a 4.8/5.0 score from college-level students’ evaluation forms at the University of Miami.
